No. 3092 — Apple Strudel for Six
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 3092 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Prepare half the dough quantity specified in recipe No. 3090. Peel 5 large apples, cut into thin slices and mix with ½–1 glass sugar, cinnamon and ½ glass raisins that have been scalded.
Spread over the rolled-out dough, lightly buttered, and roll into a log. Continue as for the preceding strudel.
