No. 3058 — How to Flavour Sugar with Orange Zest
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 3058 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Take sugar (the source omits the number of pounds) and rub it over the coloured outer zest of 2 oranges. Dry the scented sugar in a warm, dry place, then pound and sift as for the preceding recipes.
