No. 2778 — Sweet Pie or Small Pastries with Apple Purée
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 2778 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Bake a pie with dough No. 2769 and cover it with a baked apple mixture blended with fine sugar, using 5–10 apples and ½ glass of sugar.
The same dough and filling may also be used to make individual small pastries.
