No. 2403 — Small Pies with Carrot Filling
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 2403 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Clean and boil five or six medium carrots until tender, then chop finely.
Season with salt and sugar, mix with a spoonful good oil and fill small pies.
