No. 1910 — Pineapple Water Ice
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 1910 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Boil nearly three glasses water with two thirds pound sugar and juice of one lemon.
Add a quarter pound grated pineapple, cool and freeze.

⅔ pound fine sugar and ¼ pound pineapple 1 lemon | 6 glasses salt for the ice bath |
