No. 1780 — Barley Porridge with Tvorog
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 1780 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Mix one teacup barley groats with four cups tvorog, two cups very fresh sour cream, five eggs and a little salt in a stoneware bowl.
Bake in the oven until browned.
