No. 1621 — Baked Apples
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 1621 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Wipe the apples, put into a frying pan with two or three spoonfuls of water and bake in a copper sauté pan in the oven until completely tender.
Serve with sugar, cream or almond milk No. 360.
