No. 693 — Jardinière, Another Method
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 693 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Prepare the vegetables as in jardinière No. 692, but season them with salt after putting them in the pot and pour over very fresh sour cream.
The author considers this version very tasty, though the previous jardinière No. 692 is preferred.
