No. 581 — Fried Pumpkin with Sour Cream
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 581 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Fry the pumpkin as in the preceding recipe; the number is missing in this particular cross-reference.
Fry one spoonful of flour in a spoonful of butter, add one glass of sour cream, stir and bring to the boil. Pour over the pumpkin and serve.
