English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 576 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Prepare the seedlings exactly as spinach sauce No. 585 or nettle sauce No. 569.
The young greens may either be finely chopped or rubbed through a sieve, as preferred. Serve with the same accompaniments.
