English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 3873 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Gather rowanberries after the first frosts and sort them.
Bake on a tray in a gently heated oven, then add to honey that has been boiled until reddish.
Cook as for ordinary fruit preserves.
