No. 3821 — Walnuts in Sugar
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 3821 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Prepare walnut preserves, lift nuts from syrup and drain.
Boil the syrup down further, add the nuts and immediately lift them out again.
Roll in sugar and place on a sieve. When dry, pack in a jar.
