English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 3517 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
To 10 glasses of Seltzer (carbonated) water add 1 glass Alchermes liqueur and juice squeezed from 10 blood oranges (korolki).
Sweeten to taste; the author notes that some add no sugar.
