English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 3512 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Rub the zest of ½ orange into ½–¾ pound sugar. Pound the scented sugar and combine with juice of 1½ oranges and ½ lemon.
Add enough boiled water to make 6 glasses in total and strain.
