English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 3417 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Prepare in the same manner as melon nalivka in recipe No. 3415, but use French vodka specifically.
Leave to infuse for at least six weeks, then drain and finish as described there.
