English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 3284 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Make syrup from 1½ pounds sugar and ½ glass water. Add 1 pound carefully sorted and rinsed cloudberries that are not overripe.
Cook as for an ordinary preserve.
