No. 3260 — Wild Strawberries, Another Method
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 3260 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Sort 3 glasses wild strawberries and spread over paper in the sun to dry for 4–6 hours.
Boil 2 glasses water with 4½ glasses good granulated sugar, add the strawberries and cook until done.
