No. 3159 — Tea Pretzels
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 3159 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Knead 1 pound (3 glasses) flour, 4 eggs, ⅛ pound butter and ⅛ pound (¼ glass) cream as thoroughly as possible.
Shape small pretzels and lower into boiling water. When they rise to the surface, remove, sprinkle with sugar and bake.
