English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 2503 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Prepare as described in recipe No. 1165, but replace the ordinary butter or fat with ½ glass of fasting-day vegetable oil and omit the eggs and sour cream.
