No. 2472 — Mushrooms to Serve with Vodka or Pancakes
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 2472 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Wash and boil dried porcini mushrooms in water, chop finely, then mix with walnut oil, salt and black pepper. Spread on a small plate and garnish with finely chopped white onions or green onions.
