No. 2462 — Boiled Potatoes with Fried Onions and Macaroni
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 2462 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Boil 2 pounds of potatoes and peel. Before serving, pour over ¼–½ glass of oil in which 2–4 onions, or green onions, have been fried until browned. Mix with ¼ pound of boiled Italian macaroni.
