No. 2460 — Potatoes with Salmon
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 2460 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Cut 1½ pounds of raw potatoes and 1½ pounds of raw salmon into slices and season with salt. Arrange in alternating layers in a sauté pan, sprinkling each layer with crushed fasting-day rusks. Pour over ¼ glass of mustard oil and bake. Serve pepper separately.
