English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 2249 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Fresh salads from Section X may accompany fried potatoes, potato croquettes, and potato or mushroom cutlets.
Some fruit salads may also be used; replace vinegar with juice of the fruits in the salad.
