No. 2020 — Milk Kissel with Maize Flour
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 2020 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Bring five glasses milk to a boil.
Mix half a glass maize flour in one glass cold water, pour into the milk and add salt and four tablespoons sugar.
Boil twice while stirring vigorously.
