English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 1835 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Prepare as in No. 1834 but omit the eggs.
Use sunflower or mustard oil in place of dairy butter and continue with the same rising and baking method.
