No. 1822 — Carrot Fritters
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 1822 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Grate five fairly large carrots and mix with two raw eggs.
Add enough flour to give a thick fritter batter.
Heat butter in a frying pan and fry small fritters as usual.
