No. 1810 — Fried Khvorost or Little Jam Pies
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 1810 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Roll the usual khvorost dough very thinly and optionally form little pies called nalivashniki.
Fill with a glass of jam, seal the edges firmly with egg and fry in butter as indicated in the general note.
