No. 1785 — Oatmeal with Milk
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 1785 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Add one glass oat groats to three glasses boiling milk and cook.
Pour in another three glasses hot milk, boil again, salt and add half a spoonful butter.
