No. 1354 — Fresh Cucumbers with Sour Cream
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 1354 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Peel cucumbers and slice as thinly as possible; salt and drain their liquid.
Add half a glass or more of the freshest sour cream, vinegar, herbs and pepper, mix and serve.
