No. 1353 — Fresh Cucumbers with Provençal Dressing
English historical translation of Molokhovets recipe No. 1353 from the 1901 Russian cookbook, retaining original methods and measures.
Peel cucumbers, slice as thinly as possible and sprinkle with salt.
After an hour drain the released liquid, add two or three spoonfuls of olive oil, vinegar, pepper and dill, mix and serve.
